Compare to Paint-On Whiteners
Compare to Paint-On Whiteners
Article
Paint-on products do not last long in the mouth and they do not look natural. Any whitening ingredient present is quickly washed away by saliva, as is the case with whitening toothpastes. Paint-on products are very weakly concentrated as well; they must be weak to avoid soft tissue irritation when you close your mouth and your teeth contact the inside of your lips. Surprisingly, some paint-on procedures do not attempt to remove teeth stains at all. Instead, they act as a form of dental “White-Out”, masking your teeth stains and not actually removing them. The downside to these kinds of paint-on products, besides not dealing directly with the stains, is that they do not last long nor do they look natural.
